(Gavin) I've picked the Townhouse Motel Cowra because it fits our needs. 35 rooms that lead onto a central courtyard brings people together and that's what it's all about!. The rooms cater for everyone from budget up to executive. So call (02)63421055 and make a booking. Tell them you are with the "Triumph Thunderbird group"otherwise you will not get a room as the whole Motel is held for us.. The Imperial Hotel across the road (02) 63412588 has rooms upstairs but note they are licensed to play live music to 3am! Great location for food & drinks on the Friday night!...For those who want more luxury & are happy to pay for it I suggest Cowra Services Club Motel (02) 63411999... The plan is to have dinner there on the Saturday night....For those who like to camp or stay in a cabin The Cowra Van Park is just around the corner...unfortunately at this time of writing they are currently under water due to the river rise. The plan for Saturdays ride & lunch will be out to Wyangla Dam.

There are quite a few POMS on the FB 1600/1700 page and although I reference this site often they just don't seem to be interested.
One of our flockers has just recently visited the Hinkley factory and of course no sign or mention of the Tbird anywhere. He brought up the subject with the tour leader who said, oh yes we get a lot of complaints from Aussies about the lack of a Tbird on display! Maybe we will have to look into it! WTF!

The October Flocking, an impressive display indeed! A pic or two would be nice. As for the tour leader's comment, a programmed response.
