I'm going with a few friends - just looking for any info/reviews and if anyone else here is going, I'd be happy to meet up.

Mad River Harley shop was abandoned last time I saw it, think it had just been purchased and looks like its back in business (was central to Bike Week). Nice place, you're bound to have a good time.
Whatever you do, don't go fishing out on the lake! ;-)

According to our member map (courtesy Birdy68) Link there are quite a few members in the vicinity, maybe you should arrange a flocking? Plenty of time..... Triumph dealer in Sandusky is Thiel's Wheels Link - Don't know if they have something planned for the event, but they might be of help to you if you decide to organize something. And maybe some of out Midwest members might chime in here, yes?

I looked at Thiel's the other day - about 60 miles away - but if they're up to do something, I'd definitely work with them.

Its OK but in speaking with a friend that still lives there yesterday he advises that the winter and subsequent spring thaw whenever it comes, have destroyed the highways up there. He doubts that they will be to repair/re-pave all of the damage by next winter. I was up there this past fall and the roads about beat my pick up turck to death. The one ride they do that WAS worth participating in was the one around Lake Erie, providing you have a passport to enter Canada ey. Not trying to throw a wet wool blanket over your plans at all, just saying that if you go, prepare mentally for horrible highways.
Participate at your own risk.
Aw heck, go boost the economy. Cedar Point is nice.

I'll give them a call this week and see what the deal is. If they're going to actually do something, I'll definitely PM folks within a day's ride or so. Of course, this is during the same time as bennington, so, that may reduce the # of participants from this community anyway.

So - no triumph-focused activity at the event, that I'm aware of.
Nonethelss, I will still be there with 5 other guys (who ride harleys) - if any other triumph riders plan to go, I'd love to meet up.

Odd that it doesn't have OBW listed - site doesn't appear to be finished just yet, but great idea anyway.

Guns and enjoy some pudding wrestling. If you get over to Mad River, snag a 2XL t-shirt for me, K? Where's that ATWR, still in Nashville?

Next year, if I go, I'd go to the later weekend rather than the early weekend. I spent plenty of time at Mad River, since my buddy's fatboy was having issues....but didn't see this until after. Next year.
There's some good riding out there - but pretty flat. I do love the sweepers through the farm country. We got out to R&R HOF, and over to Tony Packo's in Toledo (As well as the indian dealer there - some nice bikes, if you like that styling). The roads were decent. Too much highway for me though....
Did you make it to Bennington? (that's where you were headed, iirc?) - and how was that?

Sorry I couldn't make it, but it's best if I stay out of OH. Missed Bennington too, but might make the Washington event in late July as I've never been to that part of the country and have friends up there. Off to Reno!
