And the good news......

Just got a letter from the councils soliciters - they will not admit liability - but as a gesture of goodwill are going to give me my excess ($500) back.

Gees Stan,

Chrome wheels and your money back - that's a good deal!

Are you going to Port?

Just put the Kuryakyn Swing Wings on my bike for a test. First impression, nice that you can easily kick the wings down or up as they fold away. Once secured in the right angel with the adapter them seem to stay put. Seems to provide an nice alternative for foot location and resting, in other words more movement possibilities for comfort. Will be doing a mileage test on them tomorrow. Here is what they look like on the bike, open and closed.
