Hav'nt been for a bike holiday for a few years (the only holiday worth having)
So I decided to take a trip I had planned with my late brother, that never happened
The plan was to ride north till the blacktop finished ,in Queensland then hook up with mates in 4 wheel
drives ,with dirt bikes on the back and share the ride / drive to the top.
So I decided to do the first part.
I decided to ride the1050 Sprint, I love this bike ,but must love the Thunderbird more
Because although the sprint is6 years older it had 10000 less ks on it.

So 5 adventurous days heading north, following my whims, I arrived at Cape Tribulation, in the
tropical rainforests
Treated myself to a cabin in a camping ground.(A break from the swag!)
Immersed myself in the surrounds and drank beers
I stayed a few days ,and then made my way inland a bit and returned home invigorated
with a fresh zest for the adventure
13 days and 7000 ks under my belt
I was glad of my bike choice, it was good to be on the sport bike for an adventure.
