Hola, Ladies and Germs!!

Long time no chat, eh?! Finally got out for a weekend, with the Bennington Triumph Bash crew in VT earlier this month. Been a long, slow slog due to work, family, biz travel, etc. First great weekend out on my still-kicking arse '11 Storm!!! LOL!

Saw a recent post by Fast Eddy over on FB, so thought I'd share for you "non-Facebook" dudes and dudettes (do we actually still have any ladies on here????).

For those not aware, our long time favorite resource for all things Tbird (parts, accessories, tips, tricks, etc.), Fast Eddy, is closing up shop.

So, if you need something. He is not restocking. Selling what he has, and moving onto the next phase.

Meantime, Fast Eddy Hofstrand, best of wishes to you and yours!! Thanks for always being a great resources for us "Bird lovers", and friend to us all!!

Here is a copy/paste from his post on FB.

"I came to a conclusion this weekend regarding some things I have been contemplating for some time. The decision was not difficult but it is time. First off, I am well.
I am going to retire and close my business, Fast Eddy Sports. I am going to fulfill current orders of stock items but as of tomorrow I will no longer be restocking items.

As soon as I work through the logistics I will offer discounts on remaining inventory.

I want to thank all those who supported my business over the last 20 years. I have been and remain grateful for the opportunity to have helped you. It's time for me to ride on my own terms. I will likely focus on restoring old bikes because I love motorcycles and we need to keep our feet moving not just stop.

Eddy S"

Meantime, keep them Birds shiny side up, and rear tires well worn out and in need of, yet, another replacement!! LOL!

Jamie

Thank you for posting news of Fast Eddy - and welcome back. Reminds me of good times, when the Thunderbird was new, this forum was cooking and the road ahead was clear. Eddy was a big part of it and a valuable source for all things that kept us running. I hope he knows how much he was appreciated.
