Borrowed this the other day and really enjoyed it. What a great little bike. I quite fancy one as a bit of a runaround.

Actually - I hated the first few miles -Did 100 miles and didn't want to take it back.

While I love the Bonnie SE, I'm more of T100 guy. I just don't like the small front wheel of the SE. And I *hate* the beanstalk rear view mirrors on all of the Bonnies. Can't they put a better rear view mirror on? I've never understood that one. I know it's classic and all, but ugh.

Didn't you sell that one to your son?

Agreed. I don't much care for the mags, much prefer the spoke wheels on these, but in general I really like these bikes. Great platform to mod from. Nearly bought my wife one this last month but the timing wasn't quite right.

Agree on the mirrors and mag wheels - they are the only thing I didn't like on the bike. But the ride was great.

I wish. I purchased a 2003 Yamaha FJR with 6,300 miles it for my son just so I could get him on a safe bike. His prior bike was a POS.

I sold my Bonneville to my brother-in-law and I have made many trips to La Crosse, WI, where he lives, to bike with him. However, apart form our planned weekend cruises, he just didn't ride it much, if ever, so I'm buying it back and he can come here to ride.

Here she is when I first got her.

i much prefer the exhaust run on the SE

not keen on the kink exhibited on the other models

one of the reasons i went for the thruxton once upon a time.

got to agree with the comments about the mirrors, although i do like the mag wheels on the black and silver models.

good to see you found a bike in your size mat
